In response to The Daily Post’s weekly writing challenge: “Ice, Water, Steam.”

 

 

The past is frozen in time,

Cannot be changed.

 

Submerged in water,

Gasping for the air,

Trying to reach the shore.

That’s living.

 

And, one day, poof, gone,

As a puff of steam.
