Feeling Fancy

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Feeling Fancy.”

My husband and I had a list of places where we wanted to visit. There are many places which we didn’t have a chance.

Machu Picchu, Great Wall of China, Taj Mahal, Pyramids of Giza…

Imagine… we would fly on a private jet to Beijing, greeted by a limo, taken to the Forbidden City, escorted by our own tour guide and see Tiananmen Square and Tai He Dian. While we are in China, we might hop over to Xi’an to see the Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Might as well pay a visit to the Great Wall. Spend some afternoon at a teahouse in Shanghai, after all, we do have a private jet.

And then, it is all over…

I wake up and find myself alone again.
