the vicissitudes of life

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Too Big To Fail.”
“Tell us about something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail (and tell us why you haven’t tried it yet).”

Giving up. Abandoning.
I haven’t quite given up yet. If I did, I wouldn’t be here today.

Beavers (the brown color of “beaver” comes from their fur color) are known as hard-workers and builders, and associated with the saying of “never give up.”

“Fall seven times, get up eight.” ~ Japanese Proverb

I love that leaf! Some blog I read recently said “failure is not getting up again”. I love that proverb. It says it in a more Zen way 🙂

  3. A great image for this. So glad you have not given up. That proverb is a very great way of thinking.
