sunshine harvested

When she smelled the end-of-summer breeze and fresh-cut grass, she knew.

So, she said goodbye to summer dresses, to bare feet, to tenderness after sun-kissed days.

And, with open arms, she welcomed wrinkles, age spots, cataract…
