She stands and stares.
The path looks dilapidated, desecrated, and constricted.
She doesn’t know how she got here, but the scene and feeling seem familiar.
She has nowhere but forward to go.
She taps her chest.
Green monsters accompany her everywhere she goes.
She reaches into an inner pocket and takes out the case.
She opens the lid.
She pops a green 2 mg alprazolam pill, moves forward, and gets to the other side.
Her green monsters always deliver.

That was a very trippy story, and left me feeling sad. Making your reader feel something by the end, is what’s important. Great job!

Ah yes – sometimes there is no other way to get through the day 🙂 I really like the picture and it does conjure up a sense of anxiousness. Nicely done nelkumi 🙂

The line ‘She has nowhere but forward to go’ is so true, but not always easy. Well done.
