getting on on her own

When was the last time I ate at the table?

Glancing at the layer of dust on the dining table, she walks into the bedroom, settles on the bed and turns on TV.
She needs commotions and voices. Her mind is not focused on the program. She stares at the screen, and a commercial blares a message of some special deal on large pizzas.
Sipping wine, which she poured from a half-empty bottle in the fridge, she glares down at the frozen pizza for one, which she microwaved, on her lap.

When was the last time I ordered a pizza?
