Fate brought them together. They fell in love. The immigration status compelled them to marry. They lived happily as they ever could… until one of them perished. And the other had to figure out how to live as happily.
Is “death do us part” a happy ending?
In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Happily Ever After.”
“And they lived happily ever after.” Think about this line for a few minutes. Are you living happily ever after? If not, what will it take for you to get there?

Yes, if there was happiness before, and if death waited at least a year or two before doing the parting. Death always parts us eventually.
