flip and flop

“Of course they are smart. They are my dogs.”

“They are your dogs. You go pick up their poop.”

I used to be able to switch my opinion. But, now, they are MY dogs for better or worse.

「賢いに決まっているじゃない。私の犬だもの。」

「あなたの犬でしょ。糞、拾ってきて。」

状況次第で変わる、犬の主人。

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Flip Flop.”
“Think of a topic or issue about which you’ve switched your opinion. Why the change?”

  1. Such a simple way to describe day-to-day relationships and an emptiness that remains when a beloved is no more. That may not have been your intent for this post but that was how I read it. But you are lucky to have such beloved companions remaining with you.
