I’m supposed to be okay. Right? It’s been years. Loneliness and I-wishes, I shouldn’t be overwhelmed by them. Right?

また今年も会えなかったね。

Time. Time can help us. The passage of time sometimes seems to leave us still bereaved but as more time goes on we can find a place for our grief. As always I love your drawing. So endearing!

Do we get over specific loneliness or get used to it? Do we find a place for it inside from which (from where) it reminds us it is there so sharply and so easily? I guess good feelings and convictions have their places, too. But they tend not to sting when they come out.
The illustration is both adorable and sad.
